Ghana DJ Awards judging committe to be announced

As planning of a bigger and resounding second edition of the Annual Ghana DJ Awards commences, Merqury Republic, have announced that they would keep their promise of making the identities of the Judging committee known to the public ahead of nominations filing this year.
Kenneth Addo, a GDA spokesperson reiterated the Ghana DJ Awards principles of transparency and added “this is the reason why the Judges will be publicly announced”.
“Should any of the DJs have any objection relating to potential conflict of interest of any of the Judges whose names will be announced soon, they should direct their objection to ghanadjawards@gmail.com no later than 3 days after the announcement of the Judges”, he added.
Ghana DJ Awards Judges are selected based on their maturity and technical knowledge, appreciation of the DJ culture and once no objections are received the panel will automatically be confirmed to continue with their duties unhindered and without any external influence.
An impressive first edition of Ghana DJ Awards sponsored by Fiesta Condoms, Somotex LG, Scratch Studios, Bel Aqua, Kuckoo Restaurant and Inkit, came off at the National Theatre attracted over a 1000 people including Ghana’s finest celebrities Samini, Vicky Zuga, KKD, Amanda Jisseh, Kwesi P, Tommy Annan Forson, Fred Nuamah, Beverly Afaglo, Okyeame Kwame, amongst others.
